1- Netflix ($9–16 per month): 

Netflix offers three different packages. The Basic Package entertains one user at a time for $8.99 per month. The quality given in the basic package is standard, and it doesn’t support HD or Ultra quality.   

Next to the basic, there is a standard HD plan that charges $13.99 per month. In the standard package, it allows 2 screens. You can watch on your phone, tablet, or laptop. It offers HD streaming but doesn’t give Ultra HD.   

If you want to upgrade your package from standard, the premium will work for you. It charges $17.99 per month and gives four screens maximum. Both HD and Ultra HD are available.  

2- Hulu ($7.99 or $11.99 a month): 

Hulu offers the best streaming services at affordable prices and serves as a good alternative to cable TV. Not just that they have original content, you can also watch shows from local channels after on-aired. There is no cancellation hassle. You can add-on, remove or cancel your plan anytime.

They have the best packages that everyone can afford. Hulu currently offers four different packages.  

3- Philo ($20/month): 

If you cannot get over from traditional cable, here comes the rescue-Philo. It is a streaming service for all of your devices and offers 61 channels for just $20 a month. It offers a 7-day free trial and an unlimited DVR and absolutely no contracts! You can record as many shows as you want and watch them later for over 30 days. 

4- Sling TV (as less as $30 per month): 

People who cannot afford the cable nor sacrifice the love they have for cable TV, can now easily switch to sling TV, as it is the best alternative to cable TV around. You can watch your favorite shows live without any delay.  

Their basic package allows you to explore 30 different channels including Disney Channel, CNN, ESPN, and ESPN2. Their Orange package currently costs $30 a month and offers more than 30 channels.  

There is another package, the Blue package, that costs the same as orange, I.e., $30/month and 50+ channels. It offers different channels than the orange one. It includes more entertainment and news channels. They also offer a Sling Orange/blue package. You can get both packages for $45 a month that gives a $15 discount on regular pricing.   

5- Peacock (free–$5 per month): 

Peacock is a cord-cutting option that provides access to major Hollywood movies. The basic version of the peacock is free. All you need is to sign up and they don’t even ask for payment. Peacock premium is an upgraded plan for $4.99 a month which unlocks access to a lot more highly worth watching content.

6- FuboTV: 

FuboTV is a streaming service with no contracts or hidden fees. With their Elite plan for $79.99/month, you can enjoy up to 167 channels including entertainment, sports, and local Channels.  

You get your money’s worth with their family plan offering around 122 channels for just $64.99 a month. It comes with a cloud DVR (to record your favorite shows), and you can share three screens.  

7- YouTube TV ($65 per month): 

When it comes to the quintessential destination to watch free content, YouTube comes in the game. From viral videos to unique content, YouTube is the home to everything. YouTube has quality content in every genre.   

YouTube offers huge quality content for free and a paid subscription called YouTube premium. It consists of original movies and series, and you can get all of it for $65 a month.
