Which CCIE Lab is Most Demanded in 2021

What is CCIE Exam?

The Cisco CCIE course syllabus is similar to the Lab course syllabus of Cisco CCIE 6.0 in that it is the two-thirds lab and one-third class. The labs are both theory-driven and hands-on exercises. The CCIE 6.0 Lab course was developed to support Cisco Systems’ Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) platform, which has been released as part of Cisco UCS.

The test is divided into two parts; the basic CCIE Networking Exam that covers several new Cisco technologies, including Network Access Control (NAC), Full-Stack Managed Firewall (FSFW), Advanced Security Applications, Unified Threat Management (UTM), VPN, SSDP, RSASP, and many others.

The advanced CCIE Security Exam covers many new advanced techniques as well. It is also divided into two parts: the Computer Vision exam and the Web Application Penetration Testing (WAPT) exam. Click to find out more about this.

Which CCIE Lab is Most Demanded in 2021?

It’s worth noting that all varieties of CCIEs are in high demand, so you won’t be disappointed if you pick one. CCIE routing and switching, on the other hand, is expected to be the most popular in 2021, according to statistics.

Not even this year, but we looked at the data from the prior five years and found that the situation has remained consistent. CCIE Routing and Switching Experts have the best amount of job chances each year, accounting for roughly 70% of all CCIE jobs. According to the Cisco website, “CCIE Routing and Switching Certifications” are “the abilities required of expert-level network engineers to develop, administer, and troubleshoot complex and converged network infrastructures.

There’s one more item I’d like to bring up. The word “CCIE Routing and Switching” has been used, and it’s a term you’ll hear a lot if you want to learn more about CCIE credentials. However, “CCIE Routing and Switching” was officially renamed “CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure” last year, and you can learn more about it on the official Cisco website. While it is still referred to as Routing and Switching in most other locations because it has been that way for over 10 years and people are familiar with the phrase.

How to Choose the Right CCIE Lab?

Although many features differentiate each lab and make it unique, each one has certain characteristics that can help you when selecting a lab for certification. Whether you are looking to attain a specialized credential or a general certification, your knowledge about a particular CCIE lab will help you know whether it is the right place for you. As the demand for particular CCIE labs increases, getting certified in one will almost always go more smoothly and quickly.

When you know what to expect, it will be easier to choose which lab you want to be tested in and follow the appropriate training schedule, right down to the minute. The goal of this article is to help you better understand the range of requirements for certification labs, as well as the preferences of those that use them.

CCIE Labs are generally offered in five different formats, which you can see in the table below. The first column provides a comparison of the features of each lab format:

Once you know the features you will find it easy to make an informed decision, and you can use that information to ensure you are getting a lab that is suitable for your needs.

Staff Selection for CCIE Labs

Find out how with all things related to CCIE, quality and experience are major factors. But some specifics should be considered when choosing a lab.

CCIE lab operators are usually experienced and highly qualified professionals. They are people who have passed the certification exams and are experts in the field. There are very few people who can meet the rigorous standards for operating a lab. The folks who hold these credentials often dedicate their entire careers to training, testing, and teaching others. You want a lab operator that knows their stuff, and that will provide great service to you.

CCIE labs have no formal standards regarding the size of their staff. The total number of trained CCIEs can vary from hundreds to thousands. As a result, it is almost impossible to find a lab that offers the same experience. Having some experienced staff can make a huge difference, so choose a lab that offers at least a handful of CCIEs as test staff.

On the other hand, larger labs are often able to offer test dates, times, and locations far more conveniently than small or single-site labs. You want to make sure that you can book the date and time that works best for you. A lab is not the same as a test center. Different vendors provide different features, so keep this in mind when comparing these two types of environments. CCIE certification is a long-term, prestigious and expensive process. You want to get the best possible experience and the best possible exam results.

CCIE Labs Are Available for Same-Day Registration

It’s very possible that you will have to fly to one of the five U.S. locations to book your appointment at a CCIE lab for your test. Or you might be able to get a test date a few weeks before your interview date.

Regardless of your ability to book and take the exam online, one of the most important aspects of a great experience is having the freedom to pick the time and place that works for you. You will want to ask about same-day registration, which is the ability to have your test (and documentation) filled out and prepared when you arrive at the lab and then take the test almost immediately.

Some labs allow you to schedule an exam up to two months before your exam date. However, not all CCIE labs have this kind of flexibility.

Final Words

When you book a test, you can often choose from a list of available days. Some labs offer on-site services, which include interpretation of the test results and test time after the test. Others let you choose a day to take your test off-site and have the results emailed to you.
